Baby Bush Toys

CLIENT Plinko

“It should be real. It SHOULD! I want them all! Damn.”- commenter on MetaFilter

One night, while researching education toys for preschoolers, we realized that while there were lots of toys geared at making kids smart and multi-cultural, there was a notable lack of products aimed at resoundingly average kids. And so, the idea for Baby Bush Toys was born.

Some of the products listed for sale include the Portable Playground (an empty cardboard box), Twisty Thing (a monotone Rubik’s Cube), and our most requested, the Terror Alert Xlyophone (color-coded by Terror Alert level.) We created this site, complete with product listings and testimonials as an April Fool’s gag back in 2005, but we still get legitimate requests for the products every week.

The site was featured in quite a few places, most notably the Museum of Hoaxes and AOL’s Parentdish. In the end, the site also generated a lot of attention for Plinko too, which is meant to gently remind you that we can help you get noticed in ways you might not have thought of.
